Updated 6/25/24: A contractor for the City will be striping Thornton Park parking lots on Thursday, June 27 from approximately 8 am - 12 pm. The Warrensville Center Road parking lot will be closed from 10 pm Wednesday, June 26 until striping is finished. Once work concludes in the Warrensville Center Road lot, the contractor will begin striping the Farnsleigh Road parking lot. Patrons that will be at Thornton Park for an extended period of time on Thursday morning should anticipate needing to move their vehicles.
Updated 5/23/24: The repaving of the Warrensville Center Rd. lot is complete; the Farnsleigh Rd. lot is now closed for repaving.
Posted 4/16/24: From May 6-17 (weather permitting), a contractor for the City will be resurfacing the Warrensville Center Rd. parking lot at Thornton Park. Visitors should park in the Farnsleigh Rd. lot during this time. Once the Warrensville Center Rd. lot is complete, work will start on the Farnsleigh lot. Access to at least one parking lot will remain available throughout the duration of the project. Please allow additional time when arriving at Thornton Park. Work is anticipated to continue through early June.
