Celebrating 10 Years of Connection, Purpose & Community!

Moreland Neighborhood Network 10th Anniversary 9-30-25

In September, we proudly celebrated 10 years of the Moreland Neighborhood Network — a decade of building not just a community, but a family rooted in purpose, connection, and shared growth. From block parties to community projects, from porch conversations to big ideas, this neighborhood has shown what’s possible when people come together with heart and intention.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible Moreland Neighborhood Network planning committee for organizing a truly memorable event to close out the month — a perfect reflection of what makes Moreland so special. Your care, creativity, and commitment continue to bring joy, unity, and momentum to our neighborhood. If you'd like to share and see more images from the anniversary celebration, click here! *Make sure all photos clear, it is a publicly visible folder*

Here’s to the next 10 years — and to the people who make Moreland home.

Building Around Us: Homes, Infill & What’s Changing

Development Updates – Fall 2025

Curious about the new porch going up next door or the construction crews a few blocks over? From small renovations to multi-home developments, change is happening all around us — and fast.

Here’s a quick look at what’s underway and what’s coming soon:

🛠️ YRM Corp

  • Pennington Homes: Over half of the 8 homes are nearly finished. Landscaping and final touches will continue into 2025.

  • Hildana Phase 2: Eight new homes are under review by the Architectural Board. If approved, construction could start by late 2025.

🏠 Cuyahoga Land Bank (CCLRC)

  • Ludgate Builds: Two homes are on schedule for completion by year-end 2025.

🔨 Greater Living Homes (GLH)

  • Hildana & Hampstead: Construction begins next month on two long-vacant lots. Under roof by year-end; fully complete by early 2026.

🏗️ K&W Ohio

  • New Development: Recently approved by City Council. A review by the ABR is planned for October, with construction expected to start in late 2025 or early 2026.

Stay tuned as we track the projects shaping our streets — one home at a time. Visit the City website for more information on approval processes for infill homes and a list of proposed new homes.
