Shaker Heights City Hall will remain closed from Monday, Jan. 22 through Friday, Jan. 26 due to ongoing and disruptive construction. Most City Hall employees will continue working from home; all will be available by email and telephone.
The City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, Jan. 22 at 7:00 pm will take place in City Hall Council Chambers and virtually as originally scheduled. Check the City's Agenda Center webpage for the agenda and Zoom link in advance of the meeting.
A drop box at the main entrance is available for paperwork to be delivered to City Hall staff. City Hall will re-open at 8:30 am on Monday, Jan. 29. Other City offices, including Shaker Heights Police Department, Shaker Heights Fire Department, Public Works Department, the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Building, and Thornton Park are open according to their usual schedules.
A construction crew is stabilizing a storage and coal room on the lower level of City Hall.
