Join us at community-wide events to learn more and share ideas for the Recreation Strategic Plan, which will guide future investment in recreation facilities and amenities in Shaker Heights.
- Wednesday, August 7, 6-7 pm—Virtual Community Meeting. Join us on Zoom to learn about the goals of the plan, how you can participate and what we've learned so far. Take some quick polls and ask questions!
- Thursday, August 8, 6:30-8:30 pm—In-Person Workshop @ the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building (3450 Lee Rd.). Join us for the Recreation Strategic Plan's first public workshop! We'll start with a short presentation about the planning process and data we've collected so far. Then we'll move into an activity where you will work in groups to envision recreation facilities and amenities you'd like to see at our four key sites (Chelton Park, STJ Community Building Quadrant, Shaker Heights Middle School and Thornton Park).
